Dexter Renewed for a Sixth Season...and Possibly More?

You read it correctly.  It's been reported and confirmed that our favorite vigilante sociopath will make a return for a sixth season.  However, it was also stated that the season renewal was stressed as not the final season.  Rejoice Dexter fans (including myself).  The show is phenomenal, with superb writing and absolutely outstanding acting, particularly from Mr. Michael C. Hall.  However...

Of course, upon reading the news, I was also somewhat (ok, not really) surprised to see the flood of comments on YouTube declaring Dexter and Lumen as the couple of the century.

Ok. I get it.

Understandable.

Ok, fine.  They make a better couple than Dexter and Lila.  And Dexter and Rita.  And...well, that's all of Dexter's previous romances...right?

Regardless, one can speculate whether or not Julia Stiles will make a return appearance in the newly renewed season.  If she does or doesn't, either way, the writers will find a way to make the show better than the previous season.

And I'm fine with that.
